Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee Scholarships
The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee's Scholarship Program is made up of 38 different scholarship funds established by individuals, firms or organizations wanting to assist individuals in furthering their educations. Students apply to the program and, if eligible, can be awarded grants from one or more of these different funds.

American Legion Scholarships
CriteriaChildren or legally adopted children or a child of a spouse by a prior marriage or dependent child as defined by the United States Armed Services for active duty personnel of the United States military and National Guard, and military reservists who were federalized and die on active duty on or after September 11, 2001 are eligible. The amount and number of awards depends upon the income derived from the trust.

Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards
Criteria: Applicant must be of Hispanic heritage, be a graduating senior with plans to enroll in a higher education institution in 2020-2021. GPA minimum is 3.0. For additional information see the scholarship book in the counseling office.

Horatio Alger Association
Criteria: Applicant must be a  graduating senior who demonstrates financial need ($55,000 or lower gross family income) and must be a U.S. citizen. A GPA of at least 2.0 is required as well as involvement in the community.

Coca Cola Scholars Program
Criteria: Applicant must be a graduating senior planning to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution. They must show their capacity to lead and serve as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities.
Award: $20,000 ( 150 awards )
Deadline: October 31, 2022
VFW Patriotic Audio Essay Competition
Criteria: Open to 9th - 12th grade students who are lawful U.S. permanent residents or have applied for permanent residence and intend to become a U.S Citizen.

Award: up to $30,000.

Ron Brown Scholar Program

Criteria: Applicant must be a Black/African American high school senior, and a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident who excels academically and exhibits exceptional leadership potential. They must demonstrate financial need and participate in community service activities.

Elks Most Valuable Student Competition

Criteria: Applicant must be a high school senior who is a U.S. Citizen who is pursuing a 4 year degree on a full-time basis at a US college or university.Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership and financial need.

Prudential Emerging Visionaries Scholarship

Criteria: Awards are given to applicants for outstanding service to others at the local, state and national level. Applicant must be a legal U.S. resident that has engaged in a volunteer activity that occurred during the 12 months prior to the date of application.

Scarlett Family Foundation

Criteria: Applicant must be a high school senior with a 2.5 GPA or higher with plans to enroll full-time at a 4 year not-for-profit university or college in the fall of 2020 pursuing a STEM degree. Award will be based on financial need.

DAR Scholarship
Criteria: Applicant must be a U.S. citizen with plans to attend an accredited college or university in the U.S.
Awards are based on academic excellence, commitment to the field of study (history, economics, law, political science, medicine, nursing, occupational and physical therapy, elementary and secondary education, chemistry, math, science and english) and/or financial need.

ACS Scholars Program

Criteria: Applicant must be African American/Black, Hispanic/Latino or American Indian and a U.S Citizen or legal permanent U. S. resident, a graduating senior with plans to major full time in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering or other chemically related field such as environmental science, materials science or toxicology. Students interested in a 2-year college program for chemical technology may also qualify for scholarships. Must demonstrate financial need and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher in chemistry or science classes.

SAE International
