Beta Shield

The full name of Beta Club is "National Senior Beta Club".  Feel free to browse the National Beta Club website!
Beta Club is meant to be a club that cultivates the caring and compassionate leaders of tomorrow.  We look for kids that are hard workers, display leadership characteristics, and are exemplary citizens of the Riverdale community.

The whole club will meet in the Science Lecture Room in the C-Hall.  Officers will meet for officer meetings in B5.  We will be meeting for 15-20 minutes once a month and performing a community service once per semester.  Be sure to join our Remind group to get the latest details on meetings and events.
In order to be considered a Beta Club member for the current school year, you must do the following things by September 4, 2019This includes members from previous years.
  1. Fill out this application:  Beta Club Application
  2. Bring the $30 application fee to Ms. Yawn (B5) or Mrs. McDowell (E1) before or after school.  If paying with a check, make it payable to Riverdale High School and make sure your name is on the memo line.
  3. Have 2 previous teachers and 1 guidance counselor fill out this form: 
  4. Attend the first official meeting on September 4th after school in B5 with Ms. Yawn or its make up meeting at 8 am in Mrs. McDowell's room the next day, September 5th.
