Table Tennis

The Riverdale Ping-Pong Club started as a joke amongst a few kids about five years ago. A student who was in my room on one of those joyous days of standardized testing had a mock-up Ping-Pong Club flyer in the cover sleeve of his binder (all as a joke), and I said, "I'll sponsor that."
After some asking around, a Riverdale student's family and Ms. Beth Riner (RHS English teacher) both donated slightly used tables to our fledgling club, and we began to play.
Depending on turn-out for each meeting we may play a bracket to decide a champ, or just take turns playing singles or doubles. All ability levels are welcome, and we encourage everyone to learn-as-they-go to play by official table-tennis rules (as best as we can). We don't have any dues, just the cost of the club shirt if you would like one. (First club shirt pictured, design by: Tommy Ratsabout, class of 2013)
RHS Ping-Pong Club is for anyone who wants to play and have a good time. We hope to have a fund-raiser tournament sometime this year to help improve our school!
First Spring meeting a few Wednesdays from now! Listen for announcement!
