Dr. Brittany Booher
My name is Dr. Brittany Booher, and I am one of the Instructional Coaches for our school. This year, 2024-2025, is my 11th year in education. I taught Algebra 1 in Wilson County for 8 years. I transitioned to teaching in Rutherford County in the Fall of 2022. Since being in this district, I have taught Algebra 1 and served as instructional support for teachers at RHS. I'm so happy to be in a coaching role this year at Riverdale.
It is my privilege to work alongside the teachers in our building to support our students' academic growth.
What I do:
Instructional Coach for New and Experienced Teachers:
- Point of Contact for all new teachers (new to RHS and first-year teachers) and facilitator of teacher mentoring at Riverdale High School.
- Learning Facilitator: design and prepare professional development, as needed.
- Collaborative Teacher: works to aid and assist instruction through planning, modeling, joint designing, implementing, and reflecting – seeking out new learning opportunities.
- Resources Hub: provide a variety of resources to/for teachers.
- Classroom Supporter: increase the quality and efficacy of classroom instruction.
- Curriculum/Instruction Mentor: ensure implementation of curriculum and alignment of standards instruction.
