On Friday, March 13, Riverdale High School’s staff, students and members from the community rallied together for the 13th consecutive year to raise funds and awareness for cancer research through St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
With around 400,000 children diagnosed with cancer each year, this organization exists to decrease that alarming number through extensive research and funding.
Year after year, Riverdale continues to champion efforts to conquer childhood cancer with this impactful and spirited partnership.
This year's event had 30 shavees and hair trimmers. As of Friday afternoon, the school had raised more than $18,000.
