The ACT State Testing program provides juniors the opportunity to earn college-reportable ACT scores by taking this free test for Juniors in their own classrooms during the regular school day - March 11, 2026.
Riverdale High School offers ACT Prep. This one-semester course is designed to improve test scores on the ACT.

ACT Benchmarks
ACT Benchmarks are scores on the ACT subject-area tests that represent the level of achievement required for students to have a 50% chance of obtaining a B or higher. These college courses include English composition, college algebra, introductory social science courses, and biology. One requirement of graduating from high school with an honors diploma is to meet all 4 ACT Benchmarks.

Tennessee Hope Scholarship: 21 ACT score, 3.0 GPA, $2,250 a semester for TN Schools (Click Here)
University of Tennessee: 24-36 ACT, 3.6-4.0 GPA, $1,500 to $10,000 a year (Click Here)
Middle Tennessee State University: 22-36 ACT, 3.5 GPA, $3,500 to $8,000 a year (Click Here)
UT Chattanooga: 22-29 ACT, 3.2-3.7 GPA, $3,000 to $5,000 a year (Click Here)
University of Memphis: 22-31 ACT, 3.25-3.8 GPA, $2,500 to $7,000 a year (Click Here)
Western Kentucky: 30+ ACT and 3.8+ GPA, $7,500 a year (Click Here)
