Welcome to Riverdale High School!
My name is Joe A. Potillor (Poh-til-lur), Jr....or as everyone calls me here, Mr. P.
This is my 4th year at Riverdale High School, and I am proud to be a part of the Warrior Family. I teach Physics and Statistics.
I grew up in Walnut, California, and went to Nogales HS, graduating in 2003. I hold an MA and BA in Secondary Mathematics Education from Western Governors University and am currently completing a degree in Physics Education. I plan to pursue my Ph.D. in a physics-related field at some point. I am not sure whether it will be in quantum physics or physics education.
I moved to TN in 2020 and so far, have enjoyed it, working my way up to where I am now.
Outside the classroom
- I am active at my parish church
- I speak several languages
- I'm a supporter of the following teams: Liverpool FC, LA Lakers, Carolina Panthers, Seattle Mariners, San Jose Sharks
- I enjoy traveling by plane.
- I enjoy many forms of music
- I enjoy time with my family
- I enjoy nerd jokes, some fantasy, as well as laughing at life's circumstances.
