My name is Mrs. Carroll and I am excited to be your English I teacher!

In my classroom you will be challenged with complex texts to read and asked to think critically, and I will have high expectations for you; however, please also know I am your biggest cheerleader! I am here to support you and guide you every step of the way!

GRADES

Check your grades regularly through Skyward using your assigned username and password. I highly suggest checking your grades at least once a day!

(If you need assistance with your login information, visit or call our attendance office at 615-890-6450.)

REMINDER: I will put details and explanations for every assignment on skyward. Here is how you see that:

1. Click on your ELA grade

2. A box with our list of assignments will pop up.

3. Any assignment with a 0 is missing. If the grade for the assignment is blank, that means I have not entered it yet.

4. If you are missing something and have a 0, then click on the assignment name and a description box will pop up.

5. In the description box will be the directions; it will say what the assignment was, how to complete it if it is missing, and a due date.

You can reference your textbook online through CLEVER. If you need assistance with this, please let me know!
