ABOUT ME 

 

  • I’ve taught STEM for 10 years 
  • This is my 2nd year at Riverdale AND as a high school engineering teacher 
  • I love to solve problems and am rarely ever shocked about anything  
  • I love to sing and I minister at my church

MISSING WORK 

 

  • If you miss school, you will have 5 days to complete your missing assignment.  Engineering students will be given an alternative assignment if they miss the majority of the current lab. 
  • Missing tests must be made up next class period.  

 

 

LATE WORK 

  • Ten points will be taken off final grade, each day an assignment or task is late.  
  • There is NO make-up work option for students who REFUSE to do work in the classroom. If a student refuses to do work for the entirety of class (or at least doesn’t want to try), this will be a zero that can NOT be made up 
  • When not feeling well, please talk to Ms. Scales and always try your best. I am here for you and will be understanding if I’m kept up to date about what’s going on. 

 

  

GRADES 

Check your grades regularly through Skyward using your assigned username and password. Grades are updated every Monday afternoon by 4:30pm.  

  • If you need assistance with your login information, visit or call our attendance office at 615-890-6450. 

  

  

OFFICE 365/EMAIL 

  • You can access your Office 365 account by clicking here, the username and password are the same as your computer login at school.  

  

  

MID TERM INFORMATION 

Everyone must take a midterm, per administration.  No exceptions. 

  

FINAL EXAM INFORMATION 

Everyone must take a final exam unless they are exempt by the county, per administration.  No exceptions.
