Mrs. Tracie Holt
My name is Tracie Holt, and I am one of the Instructional Coaches for our school. This year, 2024-2025, is my 13th year in education. I taught eighth grade English for four years, and 11th grade English for one year in CMCSS before becoming an Instructional Coach in CMCSS for three years. My husband and I moved to Rutherford County in Fall of 2020. Since being in this district, I have taught 10th, 11th, and 12th grade English. I'm so happy to be back in a coaching role this year at Riverdale.
It is my privilege to work alongside the teachers in our building to support academic growth for all of our students.
What I do:
Instructional Coach for New and Experienced Teachers:
- Point of Contact for all new teachers (new to RHS and first year teachers) and facilitator of teacher mentoring at Riverdale High School.
- Learning Facilitator: design and prepare professional development, as needed.
- Collaborative Teacher: work to aid and assist instruction through planning, modeling, joint designing, implementing, and reflecting – seeking out new opportunities for learning.
- Resources Hub: provide a variety of resources to/for teachers.
- Classroom Supporter: increase the quality and efficacy of classroom instruction.
- Curriculum/Instruction Mentor: ensure implementation of curriculum and alignment of standards instruction.
