Welcome to Riverdale High School. I am Joe A. Potillor, Jr. and this is my third year at Riverdale High School and 13th year teaching overall. I have taught physics 10 of those years and have taught math in 12 of my 13 years teaching. 

 

I teach Physics and Statistics here at Riverdale High School. Some of my hobbies outside of school are studying different languages (Latin, Greek, Spanish, French, Russian, Church Slavonic, English, Polish, 7 of which I speak mostly fluently), Star Wars, Baseball, Soccer, Basketball, Football, MythBusters, spending time with my family, and many other things. 

 

I am an alumnus of Nogales High School in La Puente, Ca class of 2003.

 

I have my education in Mathematics Education at a BA and MA level and am working on a Physics degree at present through Western Governors University. I have my goal to start my doctoral studies in the Fall of 2025. 

 

I have visited 6 different countries: England, Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain.
