Welcome to Mrs. McDowell's English II Class

Welcome Back!
I hope everyone had a restful break. I am ready to get back at it and finish the 2018-2019 school year strong!
Students with a failing semester 1 average will be with me during round 2 of Tomahawk Time to work on skills and credit recovery if there are no scheduling conflicts.
Find out what you missed by checking the calendar: https://rhs.rcschools.net/apps/events/calendar/?id=u691796 (also located in the menu on the right-hand side of this page). The calendar is updated weekly.
Please review the syllabus for classroom expectations and grading policies. Classroom engagement is a weekly grade. This includes following class procedures, participating in class discussions and group work, and utilizing class time to complete assigned work. Having a good work ethic results in a successful high school experience.
Please be sure to join the REMIND for your class! Updates are communicated through Remind weekly.
Please complete the Parent Information Survey. The survey can be found at this link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSemLWa-Tb5dI7sWxeZWaM7eoyhMpjZu3bvftE7aKBHi5Ks41w/viewform?c=0&w=1
